European Blended Learning and HDR Photography

Project Outcomes

Virtual Classrooms are an excellent tool for the cooperation of groups. Realtime Online Conferences, seminars or lectures
can be conducted without the need of a special geographical location. Persons can participate from any location in the world. They
just need a computer and an internet access. Webinars enable synchronous communication of groups and realtime multimedia demonstrations.
All areas of education and training like general, adult, vocational and higher education can profit from Virtual Classrooms.
Included in an international Blended Learning scenario the webinars turned out to be a highly efficient tool for the transnational cooperation of groups.
Nevertheless, also a webinar takes careful planning and content creation to make it an attractive event for the learners.

Applying European Blended Learning, the project delivered an example of transnational cooperation of education providers from
different education sectors like higher, further and adult education. The teams provided high competence and vast experience in different
pedagogical methods.

Conduction of a sequence of International Webinars in 2015

After a face-to-face meeting the project partners conducted a sequence of transnational webinars in 2015 in order to test the efficiency of
Blended Learning with Realtime Online-meetings and to work out a concept for online-pedagogy based on the empirical data gathered
during the webinar-sequence (questionnaires, records, evaluations) and on the knowledge of the experts involved. In the end
462 participants from 14 countries participated in the webinars.

The education of online-trainers and the dissemination of online-trainings is one of the most important project outcomes.
It will contribute to the internationalisation of education enormously. Webinars can be combined with
other E-Learning tools like Wikis, Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Computer based software.

The teams already summarized the results of the transnational Blended Learning in an essay:
"Pedagogy of Multinational Realtime Online Trainings (Webinars) for Blended Learning"
which is available as an Open Educational Resource.
The essay is available in englisch, czech, german, hungarian, italian and portugese language.
The links for the essays will be available soon on this Site.

Within the VIR2COPE - project the implementation of Blended Learning on the European level took place by
working together on the topic of HDR-Photography. This topic has a huge range of target groups in all education sectors.
Therefore it fits optimal for the cooperation of different education providers.

Two VIR2COPE - Exhibitions about HDR-Photography
HDR Photography is a highly efficient multishot technique and can be used in many different fields of photography.
During the project lifetime two exhibitions of HDR-Photos in Triest/Italy and Lisbon/Portugal took place.

The teams organized or will organize additional HDR-Exhibitions:
in Lisbon (PT) in the Ministry of Education,
in Ostrava (CZ) in Cafés and the office of ALVIT,
in Birmingham (UK) in the Coffin Works Museum,
in Karlsruhe (GER) in the Café PALAVER, start in July 2016,
in Veszprem (HU) the "Corridor Gallery" in the University of Pannonia,
in Trieste and Cortina d'Ampezzo (IT) in different places.

ESSAY: Pedagogy of Multinational Realtime Online Trainings (Webinars) for Blended Learning

Abstract
The study aimed at the development of a pedagogical approach for multinational online-seminars, embedded in a Blended Learning scenario.
To obtain a sound databases for the approach, the teams from six different countries conducted a sequence of transnational realtime
online seminars during one year. All sessions were evaluated from the participants and from the trainers. Based on this empirical database
they worked out an educational approach for the conduction of webinars. As Zoumenou (Zoumenou et al., 2015, 67) already stated,
articles and academic studies about interactive webinars are quite rare in peer-reviewed journals. Included in an international
Blended Learning scenario the webinars turned out to be a highly efficient tool for the transnational cooperative learning and
institutional cooperation. Nevertheless, a webinar takes careful planning and content creation to make it an attractive event for
the learners and to increase the participant satisfaction.   KeywordsWeb Based  Instruction, Electronic Learning,
